For the more than 45 years that the TalentMEDIA team has been working in the publishing industry, we’ve had the privilege of serving a variety of organizations. From government agencies and nonprofits to small associations and private companies—and even some of the largest organizations in the country—the TalentMEDIA team has seen and worked with them all. We’ve provided our expertise in every aspect of editing and design, across the web and in print. Our team has been behind the scenes doing communications and publishing work for some of the most well-known companies around. The samples below are only some of the projects we’ve worked on over the years. Vector Talent Resources Is United for Puerto Rico
In October 2017 Vector Talent Resources launched a fundraising campaign to support Puerto Rico in the wake of Hurricane Maria through www.unidosporpuertorico.com. This video was created, designed, edited, and proofread by the TalentMEDIA team.
Office of Compliance
The TalentMEDIA team redesigned the website for the Office of Compliance (OOC) to align its appearance with www.whitehouse.gov. Keeping in mind that OOC’s website was content driven and not news driven, we produced a website that was exactly what the client wanted.
The TalentMEDIA team built the site using WordPress with a MySQL database and to correctly display in Explorer, Safari, Firefox, and Chrome on PC and Mac.
Architect of the Capitol
The TalentMEDIA team was contracted by the Architect of the Capitol (AOC) to translate its live exhibit hall to the Web. AOC’s visitor center has such a vast amount of content that it would take a person an entire day to walk through it. Our approach was to bring a coherent and relevant flow of content that is similar to the flow of the live exhibit hall and translate it within the confines of a Web browser.
The TalentMEDIA team built the site using Joomla with a MySQL database to correctly display in Explorer, Safari, Firefox, and Chrome on PC and Mac.
Current services the TalentMEDIA team provides include editing, proofreading, design, layout, and 508 creation and remediation, as well as maintenance of the AARP Public Policy Institute’s website and online publications. After over a decade with the same template of color palettes and fonts, we’ve helped AARP’s branding team launch new publication templates with new color palettes and fonts specifically designed for 508 compliance. AARP’s publications vary in size and frequency. We have published as many as 150 publications in one year for the Public Policy Institute with projects ranging from 10 to over 100 pages.
Federal Deposit Insurance Corporation
The TalentMEDIA team currently provides services including editing, proofreading, design, layout, and 508 remediation of FDIC Quarterly, a publication of the Federal Deposit Insurance Corporation (FDIC) that ranges in size from 32 to 60 pages per issue. After nearly 10 years of publication, FDIC sought to redesign FDIC Quarterly. The TalentMEDIA team was instrumental in this redesign that helped modernize a traditional government publication without sacrificing the look and readability of its financial reporting.
Previous services included editing, proofreading, design, and layout of FDIC’s 188-page Annual Report and of FDIC’s quarterly newsletter Outlook and FDIC Banking Review, both of which averages 32–48 pages per issue.
