Marc S. Berman

President and CEO

As a serial entrepreneur who has owned and operated nine companies, I started my first business installing AM/FM radios and 8-track players in cars at age 14. By age 25, I was the CEO of a 70-person construction firm and owned 12 investment properties. I began operating an electrical contracting company that grew into one of the largest energy management companies in the country. After selling the business in 1996, I launched a staffing company. That’s where I developed my true passion.

I have a sincere passion for the staffing industry. I love the entire process and the thrill of the hunt, from finding the client that appreciates the dedication that goes into finding that special candidate, to discovering that unique candidate perfect for the job. When these two align, we all succeed.

In my spare time, I enjoy golfing and spending time with my children and my grandchildren. I am dedicated to being the best father, mentor, entrepreneur, and business leader while following in my grandfather’s footsteps—to be as successful as you can while ensuring fairness, honesty and following one simple rule, do unto others as you would want done to you.

Favorites

Food/Restaurant: When I can splurge, I love lobster at The Palm.

Sports: I’m an avid golfer and power boater. I still love our Washington-based teams—WFT, Wizards, Caps.

Music: I love music all the way back to the 20’s and 30’s, but my two favorites are Frank Sinatra and Dean Martin.

TV Show: No favorite, but I am watching the Games of Thrones series for the second time.

Place: I have two places I love. My home on the Chesapeake Bay is very calming, but my favorite is Vina Del Mar on St. Pete Beach.
