TALENTMEDIA – Trouble in Apple Paradise?
Apple released its latest iOS 11 update so quickly it’s practically unheard of in the tech world.
The update came on the hills of rumors that some iPhone users reported having a crackling sound hackle them when placing or receiving phones calls or using FaceTime. Many of Apple’s support forums reportedly had multiple complaints from users about the high-pitched sound coming from their phone’s built-in earpiece.
Apple claims to have a remedy to the crackling sound with the release of the iOS 11.0.2 software update.
The download can be found in Settings > General > Software Update, which of course is free of charge. But keep in mind that the update happened so quickly that it’s not yet compatible with all of your apps. There are also complaints that after updating to the new iOS, the iPhone’s battery life no longer lasts as long. As a consumer, you can’t help but notice that all this happened on the heels of the launch of the new iPhone 8 and iPhone X. Was this a calculated move by Apple? Are they going to push iPhone users to be forced to upgrade? I don’t know. But I can’t help but wonder.
