Sue is an experienced executive recruiter and seasoned business leader. She heads the executive search practice for Vector. She has expertise in multiple sectors and takes great pride in building trust and sustaining relationships with both executive talent and senior leadership within client companies. Sue has the experience and vision necessary to ensure that Vector works with the very best candidates and companies to effectively grow Vector Executive Search and ensure its financial strength and operating efficiency. She accomplishes this through a passionate respect for people and a collaborative, constructive, energetic style, guided by Vector’s objectives and values.

Having spent over 25 years in executive search and corporate business development, Sue has a unique perspective into what drives organizations and makes them successful. She has owned several businesses, been honored nationally for her work with Fortune 500 companies in the corporate relocation industry, served as senior management in two startups, and partnered with numerous high-growth companies to help them find executive talent, move their business plan forward, and achieve outstanding and profitable results.

Sue’s industry experience prior to Vector Talent Resources includes working for a national executive search firm where she specialized in recruiting senior executive positions across the East Coast and running her own Washington, DC-based boutique search firm, CXO Resources, Inc., where she placed executives nationwide for the global talent mobility industry.

Sue takes pride in recruiting top executive candidates—those who have made a true impact in their respective positions at their firms—and matching them with companies seeking to build extraordinary teams. Sue’s experience as a business owner has enabled her to understand what it is like to build a business, to be responsible for others, and to manage profit and loss. Fun Facts

    • • Although a proud Washingtonian for over 26 years, Sue was born and raised in Terre Haute, Indiana, and comes from a proud scouting family. She has two brothers who are Eagle Scouts, her father served as a Boy Scout leader for over 16 years, her mother was a Girl Scout troop leader, and Sue earned her Ten-Year Pin, the highest award in Girl Scouting. Sue was also a certified Girl Scout camp counselor. She recently attended a reunion of over 30 former Girl Scout camp counselors at Camp Na-Wa-Kwa, the Girl Scout camp in Poland, Indiana, where she spent several memorable summers mentoring young girls and teaching them team building, outdoor survival and life skills, and how to build lifelong friendships.
